Namaste!

This issue of the Bulletin focuses on the progress made by the programme upto September, the end of the last quarter. The Happenings section, as usual brings you abreast on the significant developments concerning the programme till the end of November.

Our ApproTech section features a simple technology developed by ITDG for storing food in a cool chamber. The Naya Cellar, as it is called, is a cheap and practical alternative to keep fruits and vegetables fresh for a longer period of time in rural homes.

We have also featured the viewpoint of a social mobiliser from Rupandehi who talks about her experiences in winning over the confidence of the previously sceptical villagers.

As always we look forward to hearing from you!
